Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Repair or replace faulty parts, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide accurate repair estimates.

• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper functionality.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.

• Assist in training junior mechanics and apprentices as needed.

• Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.

• Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns professionally.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: ITI (Automobile) Optional, Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering Optional, or equivalent certification.

• Experience: 1-4 years of hands-on experience as a car mechanic or automotive technician.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing engine, transmission, braking, and electrical systems.

  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools (e.g., OBD-II scanners) and repair equipment.

  • Knowledge of both manual and automatic transmission systems.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship.

• Certifications (Preferred): ASE certification or manufacturer-specific training.
