Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and other metals as per engineering drawings and work instructions.
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
Set up and operate MIG welding equipment and related tools.
Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces before welding.
Repair defective welds and perform rework when required.
Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean and safe work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to meet daily production targets.
Report equipment issues or quality concerns promptly.
