Welder

We are looking for a Welder to join our team at Farmking - Sri Kanhiya Lal Ramratan Krishi Yantra Laghu Udyog. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹12000 - ₹24000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment

• Assemble, pack and inspect products as per company guidelines

• Maintain records and manage tool room inventory

• Perform preventive maintenance to avoid downtime

• Ensure safety and quality standards are followed

• Collaborate with teams for tool improvements and new mold trials

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is below 10th and 0.5 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.

The Welder is a factory-based fabrication role responsible for welding and related joining work on metal parts, fabricated sections, machine frames, and agricultural implement structures used in production. The role requires practical welding ability, attention to weld quality, safe handling of welding equipment, and discipline in following fabrication instructions.

Job Purpose

To complete welding and related fabrication support work with acceptable weld quality, joint strength, and production discipline so that fabricated components and implement structures move forward correctly in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out welding of metal parts, fabricated structures, and machine / implement components

• Support fabrication, joining, tack work, and welding-related production activity

• Maintain acceptable weld quality and joint strength as per job requirement

• Use welding machine, leads, clamps, electrode / related tools safely and properly

• Check basic welding condition visually and report visible welding defect or fabrication issue to the supervisor

• Support production work as per supervisor instruction and fabrication requirement

• Maintain work area discipline, safety awareness, and proper equipment handling

• Report material, welding, or job-related issues to the fabrication / production supervisor

Required Skills

• Basic to practical knowledge of welding and fabrication

• Understanding of welding joints and weld quality

• Ability to handle welding tools and equipment safely

• Ability to work as per production instructions

• Basic defect identification and correction support

• Practical working approach in a fabrication / manufacturing environment

Preferred Background

Candidates with exposure to fabrication workshop work, agricultural implement fabrication, machine frame welding, structure welding, or related welding activity will be preferred.

Experience Logic

Freshers may be considered only if they have at least 6 months of practical welding exposure, training, or internship. Experienced candidates up to 1 year may be considered if they can perform basic welding and fabrication work practically. This logic is directly aligned to the root role brief.

Recruitment Note

This role should be screened on practical welding ability, not only qualification. ITI / Diploma candidates will be preferred where they also have real training or workable hands-on exposure. This is consistent with the shop-floor JD instruction set.
