Position Title: Welder

Department: Production / Manufacturing

Reporting To: Production Supervisor

Location: Gopinathpur [Near Kharagpur]

Experience:- 1-5years

Salary:-10k-14k

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder to join our manufacturing/production team. The candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components as per drawings and specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding process specifications.

Perform welding activities using MIG, TIG, ARC, or Gas welding techniques as required.

Set up welding machines and adjust equipment parameters as needed.

Ensure proper alignment and fit of components before welding.

Inspect welded joints to ensure quality and strength.

Repair and maintain metal structures and equipment.

Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.

Use measuring tools and instruments to ensure accuracy.

Report any defects or maintenance requirements to the supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Welding or relevant technical qualification.

Proven experience as a Welder in manufacturing or construction industry.

Knowledge of different welding techniques and tools.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Basic knowledge of safety standards and PPE usage.

Working Conditions:

Factory/workshop environment.

May require overtime and shift work as per production needs.
