Welder – Job Description

Job Title: Welder / Welder Apprentice
Department: Production / Fabrication
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: Freshers / Apprentices / 1–5 years experienced candidates
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for Welders, Freshers, and Apprentices to join our Production/Fabrication team. Candidates will be responsible for welding, fabrication, assembly, and related shop-floor activities while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, ARC/Stick, or other welding operations as required.

• Assist senior welders in welding and fabrication activities.

• Read and understand basic engineering drawings and welding symbols.

• Set up and operate welding machines and related equipment.

• Cut, weld, fabricate, and assemble metal components.

• Perform grinding, cleaning, and finishing of welded components.

• Inspect welds for quality and report defects to supervisors.

• Maintain welding tools and equipment properly.

• Follow production schedules and quality requirements.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

• Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the work area.

• Freshers and Apprentices will receive on-the-job training under experienced welders/supervisors.

Eligibility

• Freshers: ITI Welder / relevant technical qualification preferred.

• Apprentices: ITI Welder or relevant trade qualification; apprenticeship candidates are welcome.

• Experienced Candidates: 1–5 years of relevant welding/fabrication experience.

• Candidates with basic knowledge of welding and fabrication will be preferred.

• Good attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
