Job Summary

Kathleho Elevators India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled Welder to join our Factory/Production team. The candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, cutting, grinding and assembly of elevator components and structural parts as per drawings, dimensions and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ARC/MIG welding and fabrication work as required.

• Weld elevator frames, brackets, supports, structures and other metal components.

• Carry out cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting and fabrication activities.

• Read and understand basic engineering drawings and measurements.

• Ensure proper alignment, dimensions and strength of welded components.

• Inspect welded joints for cracks, porosity and other welding defects.

• Perform grinding and finishing of welded surfaces.

• Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting machines and other fabrication tools.

• Maintain proper quality and minimize rework.

• Complete assigned production work within the required timeline.

• Ensure proper use of welding electrodes, gas, metal sheets and other consumables.

• Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the workplace.

• Follow all factory safety rules and PPE requirements.

• Report machine breakdowns, material shortages and quality issues to the supervisor.

• Coordinate with fitters, fabricators and other production team members.

• Perform other welding and fabrication duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of welding and fabrication.

• Practical knowledge of ARC/MIG welding.

• Ability to understand measurements and basic drawings.

• Knowledge of welding tools, machines and consumables.

• Ability to identify common welding defects.

• Good attention to detail and workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong focus on safety and quality.
