Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding operations using MIG, Argon, and TIG methods according to blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
Weld materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Set up and operate welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Prepare surfaces and materials before welding by cleaning, cutting, or grinding as needed.
Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards (visual inspection and/or non-destructive testing).
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
Work collaboratively with fabrication and engineering teams.
Maintain safety protocols and follow all company health and safety policies.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of metal types, welding techniques, and fabrication processes.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Familiarity with welding safety practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Familiarity with CNC plasma cutting or robotic welding systems.
