A MIG Welder operates MIG welding equipment to join, fabricate, and repair metal components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. MIG welding is widely used in manufacturing, construction, automotive, and fabrication industries.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metals.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
Set up and adjust welding machines and equipment.
Fit, align, and assemble metal parts before welding.
Inspect welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
Use grinders and other tools to clean and finish welds.
Follow workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Maintain welding equipment and work area.
Required Skills

Qualifications
