🔧 JOB REQUIREMENT – CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

🏭 Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering

Position: CNC Machine Operator
Job Type: Full-Time | Company Payroll

🎓 QUALIFICATION

• ITI / Diploma in Machinist, Turner, Mechanical or relevant technical trade preferred.

• Candidates with relevant CNC machine operating experience may also apply.

💼 EXPERIENCE

• Experience in operating CNC machines will be preferred.

• Candidates with experience in engineering / manufacturing companies will have an advantage.

• Freshers with relevant ITI / technical qualification may be considered depending on the company requirement.

🛠️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. CNC Machine Setup

• Set up CNC machines according to production requirements and engineering drawings.

• Install and adjust tools, fixtures and workpieces.

• Ensure proper machine settings before starting production.

2. Machine Operation

• Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.

• Monitor machine operations and production output.

• Make basic adjustments to machine parameters such as speed, feed and coolant as required.

• Ensure components are manufactured according to specified dimensions and quality standards.

3. Quality Inspection

• Inspect finished components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges and other measuring instruments.

• Identify dimensional deviations and report quality issues.

• Maintain required quality standards during production.

4. Machine Maintenance

• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.

• Check tools and machine condition regularly.

• Report mechanical, electrical or technical problems to the supervisor / maintenance team.

5. Safety & Production

• Follow all machine safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping around the machine.

• Meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety.

🔧 REQUIRED SKILLS

✔ CNC machine operating knowledge
✔ Ability to read basic engineering drawings
✔ Knowledge of measuring instruments
✔ Basic understanding of cutting tools and machining processes
✔ Good mechanical aptitude
✔ Attention to detail and quality consciousness
✔ Ability to follow production instructions and safety procedures

Additional Advantage: Knowledge of CNC programming, offsets, tool setting and basic CAD/CAM will be an added advantage.
