About Us
KnitPro International is a leading manufacturer of knitting needles and accessories at our Jaipur plant. We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our Anodising section.

Role Overview
The Production Supervisor – Anodising will be responsible for managing daily operations of the anodising process line (grey, silver, and colour anodising), ensuring quality output, timely production, and smooth coordination with upstream (pointing, drilling) and downstream (ink masking, belt grinding, buffing) stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily anodising operations to meet production targets

• Monitor process parameters (voltage, current, bath chemistry, timing) to ensure consistent grey/silver/colour anodising quality

• Ensure proper handling and sequencing of aluminum needle parts through anodising and into ink masking, belt grinding, and buffing stages

• Conduct quality checks on anodised output and coordinate rework/rejection handling

• Manage manpower allocation, shift planning, and attendance for the anodising team

• Train and guide operators on safe handling of chemicals and anodising equipment

• Maintain production records, downtime logs, and consumption reports (chemicals, power)

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, especially for chemical handling and electrical processes

• Liaise with maintenance team for timely upkeep of anodising tanks and equipment

• Drive process improvements to reduce rejection rate and improve cycle time

Requirements

• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgy, or related field (Graduates also considered with relevant experience)

• 3–5 years of experience in anodising/surface finishing, preferably in metal/aluminum manufacturing

• Working knowledge of anodising chemistry and process control

• Prior experience in a supervisory role managing shop-floor teams

• Good communication skills to coordinate across departments and manage workers

• Strong understanding of safety practices in chemical/electroplating processes
