Job Summary

We are looking for a Labelling Supervisor to manage and supervise the labeling operations at our manufacturing unit in Bahadurgarh. The role involves ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely labeling of finished goods as per company standards, FSSAI norms, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Labelling Operations

• Supervise daily labelling activities on the production line.

• Ensure correct labels are applied as per SKU, batch, MRP, and manufacturing date.

• Verify barcode accuracy, batch coding, and expiry printing.

• Ensure no mismatch in label, product, or packaging.

2. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and company standards.

• Check label content such as ingredients, nutritional info, batch no., MRP, dates.

• Coordinate with QA team for label approvals.

• Maintain label traceability records.

3. Manpower & Shift Management

• Handle label operators and helpers in rotational shifts.

• Allocate manpower based on production plan.

• Ensure discipline, hygiene, and safety on the shop floor.

4. Inventory & Material Control

• Track label stock, ribbons, inks, and consumables.

• Raise indent for labels in advance.

• Prevent wastage or misuse of labels.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily labelling reports.

• Record rejection, rework, and wastage.

• Coordinate with Production, QA, and Dispatch teams.

• Report deviations or issues to Production Manager.

6. Machine Handling (if applicable)

• Operate or supervise labeling machines.

• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance.

• Coordinate with maintenance team in case of breakdowns.

Skills & Requirements

• Experience: 2–4 years in FMCG / Beverage / Food Manufacturing

• Knowledge of:

  • Labelling standards (FSSAI)

  • Batch coding & MRP rules

  • Barcode & SKU handling

• Experience in rotational shifts

• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reports)

• Attention to detail & quality-oriented mindset

• Ability to handle shop-floor manpower

Preferred Candidate

• Experience in Beverage / Food / FMCG plant

• Prior exposure to bottling or packaging lines
