The Store Keeper is responsible for the efficient management and control of inventory within the Flybed Home wall bed manufacturing facility. This role involves overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure smooth production operations and minimize stockouts.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using the designated inventory management system.
Level Optimization: Monitor inventory levels and adjust stock quantities to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
Physical Verification: Conduct regular physical inventory counts to verify system accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Loss Prevention: Implement and enforce inventory control measures to minimize losses and theft.
Warehouse Operations:
Goods Receipt: Inspect incoming materials and components for quality and quantity, ensuring they meet specifications.
Issuance Processing: Process inventory issuance requests accurately and efficiently, maintaining appropriate records.
Storage and Organization: Organize and store inventory items in a logical and accessible manner, labeling them clearly for easy identification.
Waste Management: Implement measures to reduce waste and minimize material losses. Dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
Security: Implement security measures to protect inventory from theft or loss, restricting access to storage areas to authorized personnel.
Reporting and Analysis:
Report Preparation: Prepare regular inventory reports, including stock levels, usage rates, and variances.
Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
4. Machine Inspection and Maintenance
Periodically inspect factory machinery and report any defects or servicing needs.
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely maintenance and smooth operations.
5. Factory Worker Management
Monitor and coordinate with workers for daily task allocation and material issuance.
Support supervisors in maintaining discipline, hygiene, and productivity in the factory.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
HSC/ Graduate or equivalent qualification
Previous experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Strong organizational, record-keeping and coordination skills with a high sense of accountability
Proficiency in inventory management software
Attention to detail and accuracy
Physically fit to lift heavy objects when required
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Age: Male candidate aged 25 to 45
