Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Incharge to manage the day-to-day operations of our electrical/mechanical store. The candidate will be responsible for inventory control, material handling, and maintaining accurate stock records while ensuring smooth coordination with purchase, production, and dispatch teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inward and outward movement of materials (raw materials, components, finished goods)
Maintain accurate stock records in ERP / Excel
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of materials
Monitor stock levels and inform purchase team for replenishment
Handle GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material issue slips, and documentation
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies
Coordinate with production, purchase, and accounts departments
Ensure proper handling of electrical/mechanical items to avoid damage or loss
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area
Track and manage slow-moving and non-moving inventory
Requirements:
Diploma / Graduate (preferably in Mechanical / Electrical / Commerce)
2–5 years of experience as Store Incharge / Store Keeper in manufacturing industry
Knowledge of inventory management and store procedures
Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel
Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical components
Good organizational and record-keeping skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience in handling industrial components, tools, and consumables
Knowledge of FIFO / LIFO inventory methods
Ability to manage audits and stock checks
