Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Store Executive to manage day-to-day store operations, inventory control, material receipt, storage, and issuance activities. The ideal candidate will ensure inventory accuracy, smooth material flow, and zero production downtime due to material shortages.

Key Responsibilities

Material Receipt & Verification

• Receive raw materials, fabrication components, hardware, tools, and consumables.

• Verify materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and Invoices.

• Generate GRN entries in ERP within stipulated timelines.

• Coordinate with QC for inspection and segregation of rejected materials.

Inventory Management

• Issue materials against approved Material Requisition Notes (MRN).

• Maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.

• Ensure proper labeling, binning, and storage as per 5S standards.

• Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy.

Documentation & ERP Management

• Update all inventory transactions in ERP software.

• Maintain digital and physical inventory records.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.

• Track slow-moving, non-moving, and critical inventory items.

Audits & Stock Verification

• Conduct cycle counts and monthly physical stock verification.

• Reconcile ERP stock with physical inventory.

• Support internal and external audit requirements.

Vendor & Scrap Management

• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for timely deliveries.

• Monitor reorder levels and initiate procurement requests.

• Manage scrap segregation, documentation, and disposal activities.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate (B.Com / BBA / B.Sc.) or Diploma in Material Management, Supply Chain, or Mechanical Engineering.

• 2–3 years of experience in Stores & Inventory Management within Manufacturing, Fabrication, or Engineering industries.

Technical Skills

• ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).

• MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Inventory Reconciliation).

• Knowledge of Steel Sheets, Pipes, Fasteners, Welding Consumables.
