Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, specifications, and condition against purchase orders/invoices.

• Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and other material-receiving documents.

• Properly store and label materials according to the company's storage system.

• Issue materials to production/site/other departments against authorized requisitions.

• Maintain accurate stock records, inward/outward registers, and inventory documentation.

• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences with system records.

• Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and inform the concerned department about shortages or excess stock.

• Ensure proper identification and segregation of material

• Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, Production, Quality, and Dispatch teams.

• Handle material returns, rejected materials, damaged materials, and shortages.

• Maintain proper housekeeping, safety, and security standards in the store.

• Support periodic and annual stock audits.

• Enter and update inventory transactions in ERP/software/Excel.

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and material movement reports.

• Ensure all store documents are properly filed and readily available for audit.

• Perform other store-related duties assigned by the management.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/inventory software.

• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.

• Ability to identify and count materials accurately.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate stock records.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualification & Experience

• Education: 12th / Diploma / Graduate; preferably in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

• Experience: 1–3 years in Stores/Warehouse/Inventory operations preferred.

• Freshers with relevant knowledge may also be considered.
