Job Summary

FARMKING is hiring a Junior SolidWorks Designer to support 3D modelling, 2D drafting, assembly design, drawing modification and design documentation for agricultural machinery, farm implements and tractor attachment products.

The candidate should have practical knowledge of SolidWorks, basic mechanical design understanding, drawing-reading ability and willingness to work in a manufacturing-based design environment.

Product Categories

The candidate will work on FARMKING product categories including Tillage, Seeding & Plantation, Crop Protection, Harvesting, Landscaping, Haulage and Tractor Attachments, including Rotavator, Cultivator, Harrow, Plough, Seed Drill, Planter, Sprayer, Land Leveller, Loader, Tipping Trailer, Tractor Crane, Post Hole Digger, Pole Erection Machine, Mulcher, Slasher and other FARMKING farm machinery products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.

• Create part drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings and manufacturing drawings.

• Support design and development of agricultural implements, tractor attachments and farm machinery components.

• Make design corrections, revisions and improvements as per production or management requirements.

• Prepare drawings with proper dimensions, materials, tolerances and manufacturing references.

• Coordinate with production, fabrication, machining and assembly teams for drawing clarification and design support.

• Maintain design files, drawing records, model revisions and related documentation.

• Support prototype development, product improvement and design changes based on production or market feedback.

• Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of company drawings, models and technical data.

Candidate Profile / Skills Required

• Graduation / ITI / Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field preferred.

• 1 to 3 years of practical experience in SolidWorks designing preferred.

• Required SolidWorks certification or professional training in SolidWorks designing / mechanical CAD will be preferred.

• Good knowledge of SolidWorks 3D modelling, 2D drafting, part modelling and assembly design.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical design, fabrication, sheet metal, welding and machining preferred.

• Ability to read and prepare technical drawings.

• Knowledge of surface modelling, simulation or product modification will be an added advantage.

• Basic MS Excel and design documentation knowledge preferred.

• Candidate should be detail-oriented, disciplined, practical and willing to learn manufacturing-based machinery design.

• Experience in agricultural machinery, tractor attachments, farm equipment, fabrication or manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
