Field service engineers handle on-site maintenance and repairs for machines, ensuring minimal downtime for clients in manufacturing sectors like shot blasting. They travel to customer locations for installations, troubleshooting, and training. This role suits technical professionals familiar with industrial equipment in India.

Key Responsibilities

Perform on-site installations, routine preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs for industrial machinery. Diagnose mechanical/electrical faults using tools and provide technical training to end-users. Document all service activities, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure safety compliance during fieldwork.

Required Qualifications

Diploma or B. Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 2-5 years of field service experience in machine maintenance. Proficiency in tools like multimeters, welding equipment, and reading schematics; knowledge of GST-compliant reporting helps in Indian operations. Valid driving license and willingness to travel across regions like NCR or Pune.

Essential Skills

Strong troubleshooting for breakdowns in shot blasting or fabrication machines.

Customer communication in Hindi/English for support and feedback.

Time management for field visits and inventory tracking .
