The Role As a Manager I, Mechanical Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients for the various static equipment including Pressure Vessels Columns Heat Exchangers Storage Tanks Filters and Associated Equipment Preparation and checking of Material requisitions, Specifications, Data sheets, ITP etc Prepare and check mechanical design calculations and verify designs. Vendor offer evaluation and preparation of Technical Bid reports. Preparation of Purchase Order documents. Vendor document review including review and approval of GA drawings, calculations and fabrication drawings. Lead the team of static equipment engineers and provide technical guidance to the team to perform the required job. Capable to upskill the static equipment engineers with lesser experience. Coordination with other disciplines for resolution of various Engineering issues and development. Coordination with the Client for resolution of Engineering issues and developments. Organizing different meetings with different disciplines, Vendors, Client for resolution of various Engineering issues/activities. Progress reporting for the various Project activities. Ensure compliance with project specifications and design standards. Codes & Standards Apply and interpret international design codes and standards, including: ASME Section VIII Div. 1 & 2 ASME Section I & II TEMA API Standards (where applicable) Ensure designs meet statutory and regulatory requirements. About You To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: Engineering experience in the same or similar industry. BE /B.Tech Mechanical with 15+ Years experience in the field of Mechanical static equipment design. Sound technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers. A working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of Mechanical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields. A working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications. Competent use of Mechanical engineering specific software and relevant software such as PV Elite, Compress, MS Office Suite, etc. You must have current unrestricted working rights for India to be eligible for consideration and only those candidates with appropriate qualifications and experience will be contacted directly.
