Rubber Technologist

We are hiring a Rubber Technologist for our manufacturing unit in Santej, Gandhinagar.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and streamline rubber compound formulations and mixing stages.
• Evaluate compound properties and modify formulations as per specifications.
• Monitor viscosity and other rubber compound parameters.
• Work on new compound projects and support large-scale implementation.
• Develop and improve processes related to compound design and mixing.
• Analyze non-conforming batches and support corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot Banbury mixing and process-related issues.
• Prepare monthly compound trend reports.
• Coordinate with the QA team regarding customer feedback and CAPA.
• Manage and modify mixing parameters in Mesnac and Zeppelin mixer systems.
• Monitor rubber testing using MOONEY Viscometer, MDR, MFR, Electronic Densimeter, and Tensile Tester.
• Analyze downtime related to process issues.
• Coordinate with the Production team to maintain quality standards on the shop floor.
• Support the implementation and streamlining of new mixers.

Requirements:
• Graduate or Master’s degree in Rubber Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Rubber or Plastic production will be preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of rubber production and testing processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and achieve production/quality targets.

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹55,000 per month
