Quality Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager with a strong background in manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should hold a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering and have proven experience in implementing quality systems, managing inspection processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures in the manufacturing process.• Monitor production activities to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. • Lead quality inspection teams and supervise incoming, in-process, and final inspections. • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). • Ensure compliance with ISO and other applicable quality standards. • Coordinate with production, design, and supply chain teams to improve product quality. • Handle customer complaints and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Prepare quality reports and present performance metrics to management. • Conduct internal audits and support external audits. • Train and mentor quality control staff. Qualification: • B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory) Experience: • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Quality Control within the Manufacturing Industry. Required Skills: • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma methodologies • Experience in Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, 5S implementation • Expertise in Statistical Process Control (SPC) & Process Capability Analysis (Cp, Cpk) • Hands-on experience in PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) • Experience in handling Supplier Quality • Exposure to Customer Quality Audits • Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D Report preparation • Experience in Quality Cost Reduction initiatives • Understanding of Risk Management & Compliance Standards • Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar) • Knowledge of Calibration systems & Documentation control • Ability to lead cross-functional teams • Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI preferred) • Experience in managing multiple plant operations (preferred) • Preferred: • Experience in mechanical component manufacturing • Experience in handling external audits
