Job Description: Electrical Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, Lab

Location: Mumbai (Commutable from Virar to Borivali)

Experience: 1 to 2 years (Freshers also welcome) Education: B.E. Electrical / B.Tech Electrical / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Industry: Manufacturing of Electrical wearing accessories.

Position Overview,

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Quality Control Lab Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting rigorous testing of electrical components and systems to ensure compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory BIS standards.

Candidates with a BIS Lab Certificate or familiarity with BIS certification processes will be given high preference.

Key Responsibilities,

Testing & Analysis: Perform routine and type tests on electrical products (e.g., Switch, Socket, and Plugs) as per Indian standards.

Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate records of test results, prepare Internal Test Reports (ITR), and manage lab data logs.

BIS Compliance: Assist in maintaining documentation for BIS audits and ensuring all testing aligns with Indian Standards requirements.

Root Cause Analysis: Assist senior Engineers in identifying the root cause of product failures during testing and suggesting corrective actions.

Safety Standards: Adhere to strict laboratory safety protocols to prevent Electrical hazards.

Required Skills & Qualifications,

Technical Foundation: Strong understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and measurement units.

Standards Knowledge: Basic awareness of Indian Standards (IS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for report writing.

Software: Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel is a must for data entry).

Preferred Qualifications,

BIS Lab Certificate: Prior certification or hands-on experience in a BIS-license laboratory.

Proximity: Residing between Virar and Borivali for an easy commute.
