We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metrology Engineer with a strong background in Quality Control (QC) to join our team onsite for a prestigious government project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for high-precision 3D data capturing, utilizing advanced 3D scanning hardware, and performing comprehensive inspections using specialized metrology software. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills for direct customer and stakeholder handling.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Scanning & Data Capture: Perform precise onsite 3D scanning of components, structures, or equipment using advanced 3D scanners.

• Quality Inspection: Conduct 3D inspections, color-map comparisons against CAD models, and dimensional analysis using 3D inspection software (e.g., PolyWorks, Geomagic, or equivalent).

• Quality Control: Implement and maintain strict QC protocols to ensure data accuracy, repeatability, and compliance with project standards.

• Customer & Stakeholder Handling: Act as the primary onsite technical point of contact, managing day-to-day interactions with government officials and client representatives.

• Reporting: Generate, interpret, and present detailed inspection and compliance reports for final sign-off.
