Job Summary

The Quality Engineer – Final Inspection is responsible for ensuring that finished products meet all customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements before shipment. This role focuses on final product inspection, defect analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement to ensure zero-defect delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee final inspection of finished products as per drawings, specifications, and quality plans

• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, standards, and regulatory norms

• Review and approve final inspection reports, test results, and release documentation

• Identify, analyze, and document non-conformances during final inspection

• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for final-stage defects and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

• Coordinate with Production, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues

• Ensure proper calibration and usage of inspection tools and gauges

• Participate in customer inspections, audits, and product acceptance activities

• Maintain and update quality records, inspection checklists, and control plans

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce final inspection rejections and rework

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Quality)
