WE ARE HIRING – QUALITY ENGINEER

Basant Autotech LLP is looking for a hands-on Quality Engineer for our precision machining facility.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out in-process and final inspection of CNC machined components
Prepare and maintain:
In-Process Inspection Reports
Final Inspection Reports
First Article Inspection (FAI) Reports
Calibration Records
Inspect components as per engineering drawings and specified tolerances
Coordinate with production and CNC teams for dimensional corrections and quality improvements
Maintain proper inspection and measurement records
Support traceability and quality documentation
Measuring Instruments – Hands-on Knowledge Required
Candidate should be confident in using:
Vernier Caliper
Outside / Inside Micrometer
Dial Bore Gauge
Dial Indicator
Height Gauge
Slip Gauges / Gauge Blocks
Depth Measuring Instruments
Other standard precision measuring instruments
Candidate Profile
Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering or relevant technical qualification
Practical experience in the quality department of a CNC machining / precision engineering company
Good understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and basic GD&T
Able to independently inspect machined components and prepare inspection documentation
Systematic approach towards measurement, record keeping and calibration
Added Advantage
Experience in CMM operation / inspection
Exposure to complex CNC or 4/5-axis machined components
Knowledge of FAI, PPAP, MSA, SPC or other automotive quality systems
