Job Title: Quality Engineer
Company Overview:
We are a leading polymer and plastic component manufacturing company specializing in the production of high-quality parts for the electrical and electronics industry. We are seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of plastic/polymer components.
Handle customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Perform root cause analysis using quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, SOPs, and control plans.
Coordinate with production, tool room, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Conduct process audits and support internal and external audits.
Monitor rejection, rework, and scrap data and drive improvement initiatives.
Manage calibration records and quality instruments.
Support new product development and sample approval activities.
Maintain quality records as per company and customer requirements.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving techniques.
Understanding of Injection Molding and Polymer Manufacturing processes.
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of CAPA, 7 QC Tools, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education
Diploma / B.E. / BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or related field.
Experience
2 to 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering within Polymer, Plastic Compression & Injection Molding, Electrical Components, or Electronics Manufacturing industries.
