Quality Assurance Executive

A quality assurance (QA) job description involves ensuring products and services meet established standards through activities like designing and executing tests, reporting bugs, and improving processes. Key responsibilities include developing test plans and cases, performing manual and automated testing, analysing data to identify defects, and collaborating with development and operations teams. The ultimate goal is to catch issues early and ensure a high-quality, user-friendly final product that meets customer expectations. 

Core responsibilities

• Bug reporting: 

Document and report issues, bugs, and defects to the development team with detailed feedback. 

• Analysis and reporting: 

Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, track performance, and create audit and performance reports. 

• Process improvement: 

Develop and enforce quality standards, procedures, and strategies to improve the overall product development lifecycle. 

• Collaboration: 

Work closely with product development, engineering, and operations teams to integrate quality standards throughout the process. 

• Documentation: 

Create and maintain quality documentation, including test plans and defect tracking records. 

• Troubleshooting: 

Troubleshoot issues in various environments, including live production settings. 

Key skills and qualifications

• Technical skills: 

Proficiency in quality assurance tools, methods, and concepts. For software roles, this includes setting up test environments and understanding fundamentals like Linux. 

• Analytical skills: 

Strong ability to collect and analysed data to identify issues and areas for improvement. 

• Attention to detail: 

Meticulous focus on details to ensure all quality standards are met. 

• Communication: 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

• Problem-solving: 

Creative and analytical problem-solving skills to find root causes of quality issues and propose solutions. 

• Education: 

A bachelor's degree is often required, with experience in a QA department being a plus. 

               B.SC,M.SC, in Chemistry.

               Salary Criteria is:- 25k to 28k CTC.
