Job Description – Quality Control Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Control Executive to ensure that raw materials, in-process materials, and finished graphite products meet defined quality standards. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, non-conformance management, and coordination with Production and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming graphite, binders, and other raw materials.

• Conduct in-process and finished product inspections.

• Check dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and mechanical properties.

• Perform physical, chemical, and mechanical tests as required.

• Maintain inspection, testing, and quality records.

• Identify and report non-conforming materials/products.

• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Participate in process and quality improvement activities.

• Ensure compliance with company quality standards.

• Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge of Quality Control & Inspection procedures.

• Ability to read engineering drawings and mechanical documents.

• Good knowledge of measuring instruments:

  • Vernier Caliper

  • Micrometer

  • Height Gauge

  • Bore Gauge

• Basic knowledge of graphite materials and manufacturing processes is an advantage.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good computer and documentation skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Eligibility

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. – Mechanical / Production – Mandatory

• 0–5 years of experience in Quality Control / Inspection.

• Freshers with relevant technical knowledge can also apply.

• Immediate joiners preferred.
