Job Title: Purchase Executive

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor management, and ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality products, negotiating with suppliers, and supporting the purchasing team in maintaining supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers and negotiate best terms and prices.

• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company policies.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.

• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, warehouse, finance) to understand procurement needs.

• Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• Assist in cost reduction initiatives and vendor development.

• Maintain and update supplier database and purchase records.

• Prepare reports on purchase status, costs, and inventory levels.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.

• 1–4 years of experience in procurement or a similar role.

• Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) is a plus.

Key Skills:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of relevant import/export procedures and logistics (if applicable). Preferred Attributes:
