WE ARE HIRING – PURCHASE EXECUTIVE

Industry: Printing & Packaging – Mono Carton / Folding Carton

Experience: 2–4 Years in the Printing & Packaging Industry

Required Skills & Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of purchasing paperboard, kraft paper, printing inks, adhesives, films and other packaging materials.

• Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.

• Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate rates, payment terms and delivery schedules.

• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs).

• Coordinate with Stores, Production, PPC, QC and Accounts departments.

• Ensure timely availability of raw materials as per production requirements.

• Follow up with suppliers for material delivery and pending orders.

• Maintain purchase records, supplier details, quotations and purchase order documentation.

• Monitor material quality, purchase costs and supplier performance.

• Handle purchase returns, material shortages and quality-related supplier issues.

• Knowledge of inventory control, stock levels and material planning.

• Good negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/software-based purchasing preferred.

Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in a relevant field preferred.

Location: Pune, Maharashtra
