Purchase Executive

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to join our team at Blue Icon Services.

The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹25,000 - ₹40,000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify and vet global suppliers for critical EV components (Li-ion batteries, BMS).

• Procurement Process: Generate Purchase Orders (POs), manage contracts, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery for production.

• Vendor Management: Build relationships with suppliers, conduct performance reviews, and ensure quality standards are met.

• Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor inventory levels (JIT) to minimize stockouts and wastage, while analyzing market trends to hedge against material price volatility (e.g., Lithium, Cobalt).

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, GST, HSN codes, and quality standards.

• Common Qualifications & Skills

  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical/mechanical components (sheet metal, motors, electrical parts).

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 1 - 4 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
