Job Description

We are hiring a Purchase Executive for an electronics manufacturing company. The role involves import–export procurement, raw material planning, supplier coordination, and logistics tracking to ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Check and analyze material requisitions to ensure timely availability

• Prepare material shortage lists and adjust purchase schedules (prepone/postpone)

• Plan and procure raw materials from local and international suppliers

• Coordinate with Production, PPC, and Supply Chain teams

• Maintain optimum inventory levels and avoid line stoppages

• Handle import procurement, supplier follow-ups, and shipment tracking

• Coordinate with logistics and customs for import clearance

• Issue purchase orders on time to avoid urgent or premium freight

• Negotiate with suppliers on price, delivery, and terms

• Coordinate with Finance for vendor bills and payments

• Maintain procurement records, inventory data, and reports in Excel

• Track in-transit shipments and resolve delivery or logistics issues

• Ensure material quality and compliance with specifications

Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech (Electronics / ECE preferred)
