Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control

Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for Thermal DP Units.

Ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and consumables.

Monitor production output, cycle time, and capacity utilization.

Coordinate with PPC, Stores, and Procurement teams to avoid production delays.

Process & Operations Management

Oversee manufacturing processes including fabrication, assembly, testing, calibration, and finishing of Thermal DP Units.

Ensure adherence to approved SOPs, drawings, and technical specifications.

Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Support new product development, trials, and process validation.

Quality Assurance

Ensure products meet quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with QA/QC for in-process and final inspections.

Address non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

Maintain traceability and production records as per ISO/API/ASME requirements (as applicable).

Manpower & Team Management

Lead, train, and motivate production supervisors, technicians, and operators.

Allocate manpower effectively to meet production targets.

Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.

Ensure discipline, housekeeping (5S), and teamwork on the shop floor.

Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.

Promote safe working practices and conduct regular safety audits.

Ensure proper use of PPE and implementation of safety procedures.

Cost Control & Continuous Improvement

Monitor and control production costs, wastage, and rework.

Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or TPM initiatives.

Improve yield, reduce downtime, and optimize resource utilization.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain production reports, MIS, and KPIs.

Provide regular updates to management on production performance, issues, and improvements.

Support internal and external audits.
