About the Role

We are looking for a Production Manager to support our manufacturing operations and ensure smooth production, consistent quality and timely achievement of production targets.

The role involves working closely with the production team, operators and management to monitor processes, identify issues and support continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor daily production and support achievement of production targets.

- Coordinate with operators regarding manpower, machines, materials and process requirements.

- Carry out in-process and final quality inspection.

- MANDATORY: Practical hands-on use of Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, gauges, Rockwell hardness tester and other measuring instruments.

- Monitor rejection, rework and production issues and help identify their causes.

- Support RCA, 5-Why and corrective actions for quality and production problems.

- Maintain daily production and quality records using MS Excel.

- Ensure proper process follow-up, 5S, housekeeping and safe working practices.

- Coordinate with the team to improve quality, productivity and process efficiency.

- Keep management informed about important production or quality-related issues.

Candidate Profile

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering.

- Experience in automotive components or engineering manufacturing will be preferred.

- Good knowledge of production processes and quality inspection.

- Mandatory practical knowledge and hands-on use of Vernier Caliper.

- Comfortable using measuring instruments and MS Excel.

- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

- Positive, responsible and willing to learn.

- Comfortable working directly with the manufacturing team on the shop floor.
