Position: Production In Charge – Technical Textiles (HSTPL)
Responsible for end-to-end production of technical textile products including coated, printed, and FR-treated fabrics.
Plan and execute production schedules ensuring timely delivery and defence-grade quality standards.
Supervise specialized processes such as FR padding, coating (PVC/PU/acrylic), and technical printing.
Ensure strict control of process parameters like chemical concentration, temperature, and coating uniformity.
Drive quality compliance, coordinate inspections, and minimize defects/rejections.
Optimize production efficiency through lean practices, waste reduction, and process improvements.
Manage shop-floor operations, manpower allocation, and productivity.
Ensure preventive maintenance and minimize machine downtime.
Maintain chemical safety, SDS compliance, and hazard control systems.
Track KPIs including output, quality, downtime, and on-time delivery.
Requirement: 5–10 years experience in technical textiles (coating, laminating, FR fabrics, industrial fabrics).
Skills: Strong process knowledge, production planning, quality control, and team leadership.
