Production Manager – Apparel & Fashion

Job Title - Production Manager(Bachelor in fashion designing)

Location - Nagpur, Maharashtra

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee end-to-end apparel production operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of garment manufacturing, quality standards, production planning, vendor coordination, and team management. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely production, maintaining quality standards, optimizing costs, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the complete garment production process from sampling to final dispatch.

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet delivery timelines.

• Coordinate with design, merchandising, sourcing, and quality teams.

• Monitor production efficiency, quality standards, and cost control measures.

• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and manufacturing processes.

• Manage factory operations, workforce planning, and production targets.

• Resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.

• Monitor inventory levels of fabrics, trims, and production materials.

• Maintain production reports, MIS, and performance metrics.

• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce wastage.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, Textile Design, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in garment/apparel production management.

• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, manufacturing techniques, and quality control.

• Proficiency in production planning and inventory management.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with men's ethnic wear, premium fashion, or contemporary apparel brands.
