Job Purpose

The Production Executive will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and optimizing production activities across machines and departments. The role requires strong technical knowledge of printing/packaging processes and hands-on experience in production planning and coordination to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute daily and weekly production schedules across all machines

• Ensure optimal machine utilization with minimal downtime

• Adjust production plans in real time based on shop-floor conditions, delays, or breakdowns

• Coordinate with Pre-Press, Printing, Coating, Punching, and Packaging teams for smooth workflow

Monitoring & Data Management

• Maintain detailed records for pre-planning, execution, and post-production stages

• Track production efficiency, wastage, and turnaround times

• Prepare daily and weekly production performance reports for management

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Stores & Purchase to ensure timely availability of raw materials

• Work closely with the Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance

• Liaise with Sales and Dispatch teams to meet customer delivery timelines

Manpower Management

• Plan and allocate manpower across various production areas

• Conduct training programs to improve skill levels and machine handling

• Monitor shift performance and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma in Printing Technology (preferred)

• Experience in the Printing & Packaging industry

• Good communication skills in English and Kannada (Hindi/Tamil is an added advantage)

• Strong leadership and team-management abilities

• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy materials for extended periods

• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Email, Internet – mandatory)

• Ability to handle emergency situations responsibly
