Key Responsibilities – Hand Block Printer

• Execute hand block printing on fabrics according to approved designs, colourways, and production specifications.

• Ensure accurate placement, alignment, and registration of blocks to maintain consistency across the fabric.

• Maintain the quality of prints, including sharpness, colour application, repeat patterns, and overall finish.

• Handle printing blocks, dyes, pigments, and printing materials with care.

• Follow approved strike-offs, samples, and colour references during production.

• Identify and minimise printing defects, misalignment, smudging, and colour inconsistencies.

• Coordinate with the production and design teams to meet quality standards and delivery timelines.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the printing area, blocks, and equipment.

• Ensure efficient use of fabric, colours, and other printing materials.

• Follow production schedules and maintain consistency across bulk orders.
