Job Title: Needle Loom Operator
Job Summary:
The Needle Loom Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining needle loom machines used in the production of narrow fabrics such as tapes, webbings, labels, and elastics. The role ensures efficient production while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate needle loom machines to produce narrow fabrics as per specifications
Set up machines, including threading, beam loading, and pattern adjustments
Monitor machine performance and fabric quality during production
Identify and fix minor mechanical issues or report to maintenance team
Maintain proper tension, alignment, and settings for consistent output
Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of machines
Ensure minimal wastage and optimal utilization of raw materials
Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets
Maintain records of production, defects, and downtime
Adhere to workplace safety and quality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience operating needle loom or similar textile machinery
Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of different yarns, threads, and fabric types
Ability to read basic production instructions and patterns
Good attention to detail and quality control
Physical stamina to stand for long hours and handle materials
Preferred Skills:
Experience in textile or narrow fabric manufacturing industry
Familiarity with loom settings and pattern programming
Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures
