Job Title: Site Supervisor

Reporting To: Project Manager / Site Engineer

Job Summary

The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role involves coordinating labor, materials, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site

• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, plans, and specifications

• Monitor labor productivity and allocate tasks effectively

• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors

• Ensure availability and proper use of materials, tools, and equipment

• Maintain site safety standards and ensure compliance with HSE regulations

• Inspect work quality and report issues or deviations

• Maintain site records, daily progress reports, and attendance

• Resolve on-site issues and escalate major concerns to management

• Ensure timely completion of work as per project schedule

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

• Good leadership and team management skills

• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Awareness of safety standards and regulations

• Good communication and coordination skills

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)

• Certification in safety (OSHA / NEBOSH) is an advantage

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role

• Experience in [residential/commercial/industrial/infrastructure] projects preferred
