Location:- Gopinathpur (Near Kharagpur)

Key responsibilities

Production and operations management

• Supervise milling process: Oversee all stages of production, including grain cleaning, shelling, polishing, sorting, and grading to meet quality and quantity targets.

• Coordinate workflow: Manage and schedule the activities of workers on the production line to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of operations.

• Optimize production: Monitor and adjust equipment settings to maximize rice yield and quality while minimizing waste.

• Troubleshoot issues: Identify and resolve mechanical or process-related issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Team leadership and supervision

• Train and mentor staff: Provide training to new and existing mill workers on machinery operation, safety procedures, and food handling best practices.

• Manage team performance: Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and enforce disciplinary measures if needed.

• Create schedules: Develop and manage shift schedules to ensure proper staffing levels.

• Foster a positive work environment: Encourage teamwork and a culture of accountability and safety.

Quality control and compliance

• Implement quality assurance: Enforce quality control procedures, including regularly sampling and testing rice for purity, moisture content, and overall quality.

• Ensure food safety: Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).

• Conduct inspections: Perform regular inspections of machinery, processes, and products to ensure adherence to company and industry standards.

Inventory and resource management

• Track inventory: Monitor and manage inventory levels for raw paddy, finished rice, and processing materials.

• Order supplies: Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure a timely and sufficient supply of materials.

• Manage resources: Maximize the effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources to reduce costs and minimize waste.
