Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment used in HVAC manufacturing (e.g., compressors, heat exchangers, fans, pumps, conveyors, presses).
Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
Maintain HVAC production machinery such as coil manufacturing lines, sheet metal fabrication machines, brazing/welding equipment, and assembly tools.
Inspect mechanical systems for wear, alignment, lubrication, vibration, and safety issues.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals, and technical specifications.
Replace or repair bearings, belts, gears, seals, shafts, and other mechanical components.
Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment and production lines.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and company policies.
Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts usage in the maintenance system.
Coordinate with production, electrical, and quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
Recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in HVAC manufacturing or industrial production.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and industrial machinery.
Experience with preventive maintenance practices and root cause analysis.
Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and lubrication systems.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to work shifts and respond to breakdowns as required.
Experience in HVAC industry or appliance manufacturing.
Knowledge of TPM, 5S, or Lean Manufacturing practices.
Basic understanding of electrical systems related to mechanical equipment.
