Machine Operator

We are looking for a skilled Bending Machine Operator to operate and maintain sheet metal bending machines for production of precision components as per technical drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC/NC/Manual bending machines efficiently.

• Set up machine parameters as per job requirements.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

• Select appropriate tools, dies, and punches for bending operations.

• Ensure dimensional accuracy of finished components.

• Perform machine calibration and basic troubleshooting.

• Inspect finished products using measuring instruments like vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.

• Maintain production targets and minimize material wastage.

• Follow safety standards and shop floor discipline.

• Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and bending process.

• Hands-on experience on CNC bending / press brake machines.

• Drawing reading ability.

• Knowledge of measurement instruments.

• Understanding of machine safety protocols.

• Basic troubleshooting skills.
