The Fluid Handler is responsible for the safe handling, transfer, monitoring, and storage of industrial fluids, including liquids, chemicals, oils, and process materials, in accordance with operational procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements. The role ensures uninterrupted production flow while maintaining strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines.
Handle, transfer, load, unload, and store fluids using pumps, pipelines, hoses, valves, tanks, and containers.
Monitor fluid levels, pressure, temperature, and flow rates during operations.
Operate and maintain fluid-handling equipment such as pumps, mixers, compressors, and filtration systems.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Identify and report leaks, spills, contamination, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance of fluid systems.
Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and documentation of fluids as per regulatory norms.
Assist in inventory control and recordkeeping of fluid usage and storage.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
Comply with workplace safety, environmental, and statutory requirements at all times.
Minimum: 10th / 12th pass or ITI (Mechanical / Chemical / Fitter preferred).
1–3 years of experience in fluid handling, plant operations, or industrial environments preferred.
Basic understanding of industrial fluids, pumps, pipelines, and safety practices.
Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, FMCG, oil & gas, or manufacturing plants is an advantage.
