Job Overview

HVTI is looking for a skilled Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for operating lathe and milling machines, precision machining of components, and ensuring that all manufactured parts meet required dimensional and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate lathe and milling machines for manufacturing and machining components.

• Perform turning, drilling, threading, fitting, and other machining operations.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Measure components using appropriate measuring instruments and maintain required dimensional accuracy.

• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet specified quality and tolerance requirements.

• Maintain and properly use cutting tools, measuring instruments, and machine tools.

• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machines and equipment.

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a safe and organized work area.

• Complete assigned jobs within required timelines and meet daily production targets.

• Coordinate with the production and engineering teams to resolve machining-related issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating lathe and milling machines.

• Good knowledge of turning, drilling, threading, and fitting operations.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

• Knowledge of measurement tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Strong attention to dimensional accuracy and quality.

• Ability to work independently and meet production requirements.

• ITI/Diploma in Machining, Fitter, or a related technical trade will be an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: ₹27,000 – ₹32,000/month, depending on experience and skill level.
Working Schedule: 6 days/week, 9:30 AM – 6:30pm
