We are looking for a A "lathe operator " to join our team Carbon Light Pvt. Ltd. The role involves a skilled tradesperson who will sets up, operates, and maintains a lathe machine to shape materials (metal, wood, plastic) into precise cylindrical or conical parts, crucial for industries like automotive, aerospace, and medical devices, requiring skills in reading blueprints, using precision tools, and ensuring quality control for manufacturing components.  

Key Responsibilities

• Operation: Set up and run manual or CNC (Computer Numerical Control) lathes to turn, face, drill, and thread materials. Can operate the above 2 mtr. lathe machines. Knowledge of vernier, micrometer, Borges Gauge is must. Knowledge of runout and able to read blue print.

• Setup: Load workpieces, select cutting tools, and adjust machine settings (speed, feed). 

• Quality Control: Measure finished parts with instruments like calipers and micrometers to meet exact specifications. 

• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the machine. 

• Documentation: Record production data and maintain a safe, clean work area. 

Education : ITI/or equivalent degree

Experience : 5 yrs.
