Industrial Painter

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Industrial Painting Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all aspects of industrial painting operations on-site. The ideal candidate will lead a team of painters and blasters, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of industrial coatings, and a proactive approach to safety and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily painting and blasting operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

• Plan and assign work schedules, monitor productivity, and manage labor and materials to meet project deadlines.

• Inspect surface preparation and coating application processes to ensure compliance with client and industry standards (e.g., SSPC/NACE).

• Coordinate with project managers, quality control, and other trades to ensure efficient project execution.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of painting crew members.

• Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

• Document job progress, material usage, and labour hours; provide regular updates and reports.

• Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental, and quality protocols.

• Assist with estimating material and labour requirements for upcoming projects.
