Fitting Operator

Role Overview

We are looking for ITI/Diploma freshers to join our Production team as Assembly Line Operators. The candidate will be responsible for performing vehicle assembly operations as per defined processes, SOPs and quality standards.

This is a hands-on shop-floor role and an opportunity to learn electric two-wheeler assembly, manufacturing processes, tools and production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of electric two-wheelers as per work instructions and SOPs.

• Carry out fitment of mechanical, electrical and other vehicle components.

• Operate basic hand tools, power tools and assembly equipment safely.

• Follow the defined assembly sequence and takt/cycle time.

• Ensure proper tightening, fitment and alignment of components.

• Perform basic quality checks at each stage of assembly.

• Identify and report any quality issue, missing component or abnormality to the supervisor.

• Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards at the workstation.

• Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements on the shop floor.

• Maintain proper handling and storage of tools and components.

• Support the Production team in achieving daily production targets.

• Participate in continuous improvement, Kaizen and process improvement activities.

• Follow company policies, production standards and safety procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical components.

• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions.

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.

• Good observation and attention to detail.

• Willingness to work on the manufacturing shop floor.

• Good discipline, punctuality and teamwork.

• Willingness to learn EV technology and vehicle assembly processes.

Who Can Apply?

• ITI freshers from Fitter, Electrician, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Welder or related trades.

• Diploma freshers in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics or related disciplines.

• Candidates with a strong interest in automobile/EV manufacturing are preferred.
