Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, systems, and structures. They interpret blueprints, operate hand and power tools, and fabricate parts. Working across manufacturing, construction, and engineering, they ensure machinery runs safely and efficiently.
Education & Experience
Vocational Training: A relevant diploma, apprenticeship, or an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in the Fitter trade is highly preferred.
Experience: A relevant diploma / ITI, typically requires anywhere from 2+ years or more of hands-on experience in assembly of any type of machines, assembly line etc. in mechanical industries. [Pneumatics & Hydraulics]
Key Responsibilities for Experience
Reading Technical Plans: Schematic drawings, and engineering specifications.
Assembly & Installation: Assemble, fit, and install mechanical components, pipework, and structural parts.
Compliance: Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and industry regulations on job sites.
