Purpose Machines (SPM), hydraulic machines, conveyors and customized industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine assembly and mechanical fitting as per engineering drawings.

• Assembly of machine structures, shafts, bearings, gears, couplings, cylinders and other mechanical components.

• Perform accurate alignment, leveling and fitting of machine components.

• Hydraulic and pneumatic component installation and connection support.

• Use hand tools, power tools, drilling machines and other fitting tools.

• Check dimensions and fitment using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer and measuring tape.

• Support machine trial, testing and commissioning.

• Identify and rectify mechanical issues during assembly and machine trials.

• Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S and safety practices.

• Coordinate with Design, Electrical and Production teams for machine completion.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of mechanical fitting and machine assembly.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

• Knowledge of bearings, shafts, gears, chains, couplings, pneumatic and hydraulic components.

• Basic knowledge of fabrication and machining processes.

• Good measurement and alignment skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualification & Experience

• ITI / Diploma – Fitter or Mechanical Trade preferred.

• Experience: 1–5 years in machine building, SPM, industrial machinery or equipment assembly.

• Fresh ITI candidates with good practical skills may also be considered.
