Core Responsibilities
Assembly & Installation: Read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to position, align, and secure parts like gears, shafts, bearings, and valves.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine checkups, run diagnostic tests, and listen for unusual equipment sounds to spot mechanical faults.
Repair & Fabrication: Disassemble broken machinery, replace worn components, and use hand tools, power tools, or welding equipment to shape and modify parts.
Safety & Compliance: Follow workplace safety rules, execute lockout/tagout procedures, and keep the work area clean.
